This week is going to be a big week for us here at the Nation. I say this for several reasons, primarily because we will premiering our new affiliated artist this week. On another note, this week’s mashups are very special! Most of them are bootlegs, which are perfect for your DJ sets. I am not going to go into detail about each mashup, but my favorite on this list has to be the one done by Laidback Luke. This bootleg was played by LBL at ULTRA, and the second he dropped it the crowd went nuts. Overall, the majority of this list consists of bootlegs… but there are several other mashups on here done by your favorite artists! I just recently downloaded this mixtape and I have nothing bad to say about it.  I also have nothing too amazing to say about it.  The Hood Internet has definitely done better.  So we decided to pick out our favorites from the tape and post them.  The Hood Internet always produces quality, but sometimes it is a bit dull.  Soooooo….. listen to the ones below all the way through and decide if you want the whole mixtape.  I will be educating my ears on quality mashups for the next couple weeks for sure, compliments of The Hood Internet. Several reasons why I love The Hood Internet: A) the picture to the left. B) they always mash up my favorite Indie songs with my favorite Rap songs. C) THIS SONG RIGHT HERE.  I spent the last decade going through music phases like Tiger went through sluts, but this song just brings it all together and shoves it in your face.  Like a beer bong.  Three 6 Mafia on top of Peter Bjorn and John? The Hood Internet makes it about as yummy as pepperoni on top of cheese.  What else can I say about this song?  XOXO, RENEVATIO
