Thursday Night Thumpers

It’s time for TNT’s! Expect some bass blasting speaker madness. Hardwell mashes up Prutataaa, and Laidback Luke Dutchafies more Katy Perry. Two avicii tracks, an older remix of EDX’s Shy Shy and a remix of his classic track Sweet Dreams. It was a must that I post a true banger, In The Air, from True Tiger; this remix is by far the loudest of the bunch. Don’t know how pumped I am about the vocals but with the intense electro drop they’re really not a problem.  And as always a solid progressive track. No dubstep tonight because I’m working on another dubstep post and need to save those bad boys. Enjoy your Thursday, PrivateParty!

Last Friday Night… We hit Turbulance!

Now that I am back, I have a chance to give you some of the songs I got before I left for Vegas.  The picture above was taken while we were at Avicii’s performance at the Marquee last Friday night, so I figured I would throw it up. Shout out to KC for taking such a good picture of him! The best part is I got a chance to listen and pregame to a ton of new tunes. To start off the post I just wanted to give you guys a little taste of what Avicii was playing at the Marquee. It’s by far the most clear version of ID I could find, so deal with it ha. Now back to the post, Turbulence has easily been one of my favorite songs of the year. I love everything about the song and all of these remixes are great. My two favorites are by far the Sindey Samson mix and the Tocadisco mix. Both artists put their signature touch on the already amazing song and make it that much better. Next up we have a few remixes to the new Katy Perry track “Last Friday Night”. My favorite has to be the Sidney Samson one because he destroys this pop track and turns into a Dirty Dutch banger! Make sure to grab all of them! Enjoy!

On last week’s Thursday Night Thumpers, PrivateParty put up a remix by Benny Benassi to Katy Perry’s song, E.T. and spurred a ton of feedback! Thursday Night Thumpers

Hello all!! I couldn’t be more excited to post this weeks Thumpers. Not being able to post last week put me in a bad place. It’s like taking a baby hippopotamus away from his mother, it’s emotionally straining, but you know that mama is gunna come at you with some force. Well here is my rebuttal, and I’m coming in hot! The mix of this weeks Thumpers are largely house, electro house, and some progressive beats. To open, the new Steve Angello & Alex Metric track, a perfect warm up song  which will set you up for the rest of the tunes and a song I am going to set as my alarm clock to ensure a glorious wake up. Next a set of songs that are purely house: Brave, a song produced by Benny Benassi and Will.I.Am, Big Fucking House, Groovebox, Hungry Pony, and I-Tune. Each song has a very specific sound, a sound as we say here at the Nation that will BLOW YOUR SPEAKERS!! Next a Benny Benassi remix of Katy Perry‘s E.T. I’m happy to see Benny coming back strong, not that he ever left, but as an older producer in the electronic music game he still brings heaters. To close out tonight’s Thumpers and bring you into the late night festivities, an Only You remix from Ken Loi, a spectacular mash up from Hardwell, and Embrace, the new EDX track. Of course the Thumpers wouldn’t be complete without a little dose of DnB. It’s a UUUGGE weekend here in Boulder, we’re no longer in the negatives which means I can actually go outside without my entire body freezing, but more importantly it’s my roommate and good friends birthday tonight which means one thing, it’s going to get reckless!! Oh and did I mention Dada Life @ Beta on Saturday?! I wish all of you a happy and healthy weekend, PrivateParty!

Barletta and Paul David remixes have been floating around the internet world for quite sometime now. When ever I am looking for a good remix I know to turn to these guys. They are young and extremely passionate about their music. They take songs and add great twists to them. Whenever you start to listen to a song from either of them, you can expect to hear a big drop and once it drops, the song completely transforms into something you would never have expected. These guys definitely know the meaning of, “kissing your speakers goodbye!”

Wideboys Remixes

Wideboys is made up of two record producers and professional remixers from London. These two men have pumped out some incredible remixes over the years and each year they come out with more and more of them! Every record they touch turns into gold. Here is a group of Wideboys remixes that have piled up in my iTunes. Most of them are old but some of them are new so make sure to check them all out! Whenever they do a remix, they do two versions: a “Radio Edit” remix and a “Club” remix. Mashup Monday

For our second edition of Mashup Monday, we have a great list of new songs for you to rock out to. Every single one of these Mashups are very unique so make sure to check them all out.
