Preview: Laidback Luke- 1234 feat. Chuckie and Martin Solveig

Its safe to say that this was was one of the best tracks that premiered at this years Ultra. Since it premiered there has been an overwhelming demand from fans for this track to be released. Laidback Luke’s label Mixmash Records finally released an official preview of it and it’s just as amazing as I remember it. There’s no doubt that when this is officially released it will be making an appearance in every DJ’s set this summer. Mixmash has also stated that because of the unexpected success of this track this is the most rapid release they’ve done. Not gonna lie I was getting worried that there hasn’t been that massive summer anthem yet but Laidback Luke, Martin Solveig, and Chuckie have definitely delivered one. The DJ’s involved are no strangers to making massive EDM anthems either. When you combine the DJ’s responsible for hits such as Dirty Talk, Hello, and Who’s Ready To Jump there’s no question that they’d release yet another hit track. I also think the track brings together their styles quite nicely. There’s that dirty dutch bass through out the track that both Laidback Luke and Chuckie are known for along with house synths layered on top of it reminiscent of Solveig’s style. The track is scheduled to be released on Beatport on May 7th.

Dada Life- Rolling Stones T-Shirt (Remixes)

The banana duo has finally released the official version of “Rolling Stones T-shirt” along with remixes from Chuckie and Cazzette. They’ve been playing this track in recent sets and in their monthly podcast for a while, so i’m happy there’s finally an official version of it. It definitely has the makings of a track you’re going to hear in sets all summer. The beats within the song are catchy in general. Dada Life is known to have straight instrumental hits or songs with only a little vocals added, and this definitely falls under that category. The lyrics in the song are catchy as well and will definitely be a sing-a-long like their other hits “Kick out the epic motherfucker” and “Happy Violence”. There’s no way you can listen to this track and not wish it was summer and you were at a pool party.

As far as the remixes go, Chuckie changes it up by adding some looping and of course puts his dirty dutch spin on it with a hard dutch style drop. Cazzette’s remix gives the track a dub house feel at the beginning and adds a hard hitting dub-electro drop. They also layer warped vocals on top of the original vocals towards the end which also gives it a dubstep feel.

Sidney Samson- Get Low

Dutch DJ/Producer Sidney Samson released his latest track “Get Low”. This track has classic dutch house style elements, which Sidney Samson is best known for. It starts off with a melodic intro and then leads in to a massive dutch style drop, with contrasting high and low beats. It’s definitely his most solid release since “Riverside”.

Roscoe Dash- Good F*cking Night (Chuckie Smash Crank Bootleg)

I came across a rap remix a couple weeks back that was done by the Dirty Dutch legend, Chuckie. I immediately downloaded it because, time and time again, he talks about how much he loves rap. The original version of the track was done by Roscoe Dash and is titled “Good F*cking Night” (Or “Good Good Night”). When looking at this name, two thoughts came into my head: First being that this could be god-awful or it could actually be a straight banger! Since I have gotten my hands on it, I cant even begin to tell you how many times I have listened to it, yes, it’s that good! Chuckie’s performance on this track is unlike anything else. He completely mashes house with hip hop to form one track that you could put on at any party and have everyone in the room dancing. In my opinion, this is what Chuckie is known for: creating massive party hits and songs that make you want to go crazy and have a good f*ckin’ time. Enough rambling for now, but make sure to check this track out if you already haven’t! Enjoy!
